Group home for dementia care
As I have mentioned, I was loved by my grandparents from an early age, which I believe gave me a stronger affinity for the elderly compared to others in my generation. Of course, I am no saint—there were certainly some elderly people I did not get along with—but overall, I am grateful to have been involved in the field of elderly care. In particular, my work as a care worker at a group home for people with dementia in downtown Tokyo was deeply rewarding and provided me with invaluable experiences.

認知症対応型グループホーム
これまで述べてきたように、私は幼い頃から祖父母にかわいがってもらってきていたので、他の同世代の方々と比べてみても、高齢者に対しては親近感を持っている方だろうと思います。もちろん私も、聖人君子ではないので、この人とは相性が悪いという高齢者もいたとは思いますが、それでも高齢者介護の世界に関わることができて、基本的にはとても良かったと思っています。そのなかでも特に私は、都心にあった認知症対応型グループホームでの介護職員としての仕事に、とてもやりがいを感じましたし、とても貴重な経験をさせていただけたと思います。
