National examination for certified psychiatric social workers
Upon successfully completing the 1 year and 7-month general training course, we become eligible to take the national examination for certified psychiatric social workers. Ultimately, the challenges of this long and demanding training will only be truly meaningful if we pass the exam and earn the qualification. Of course, I gained a great deal from the mental health and welfare assistance internship and other activities, and I felt that taking this training course was worthwhile for that experience alone. However, since I had already qualified to take the exam, I still wanted to pass it as a way to validate and give formal proof of everything I had learned.

精神保健福祉士国家試験
1年7か月の一般養成課程をつつがなく修了すると、精神保健福祉士国家試験を受験する資格が、晴れて与えられることになります。結局、この1年7か月間の苦しみに満ちた養成課程は、精神保健福祉士国家試験で合格し、精神保健福祉士の資格を取得することによって、はじめて意味を持つことになります。もちろん、精神保健福祉援助実習などで、とても多くの学びがあり、それだけでもこの養成課程を受講してよかったと私は考えていましたが、そうは言っても、やはりせっかく受験資格が得られたのですから、是非とも合格を果たし、これまで学んできたことの証としたいと思っていました。
