Care Manager Practical Training Course Examination
The 2017 (Heisei 29) Tokyo Care Manager Practical Training Course Examination was held on October 8, 2017 (Heisei 29), beginning at 10:00 AM, with a time limit of 120 minutes. The questions were multiple-choice with five options, and answers were recorded on a mark sheet. This five-option multiple-choice format was quite tricky. In the National Center Test for University Admissions and the Common Test for University Admissions, it is common to select one answer from four or five options, and I felt that many of the questions there were relatively straightforward. In the care manager exam, we had to choose two or three correct answers out of five options. In my case, I was usually able to identify two of the three answers fairly easily, but I often got the last one wrong. We had to choose three correct answers from five options, and if even one was wrong, no points were awarded—even if the other two were correct. I think many candidates who were unfamiliar with this format were quite taken aback. Therefore, in my preparation for the care manager exam, I found 『ケアマネ試験ウラ技合格法 ’17年版』 (Secret Techniques for Passing the Care Manager Exam, 2017 Edition) extremely useful, partly because it helped me prepare for the exam’s unique format.

介護支援専門員実務研修受講試験
2017（平成29）年度の東京都介護支援専門員実務研修受講試験は、2017（平成29）年10月8日の午前10時から開始され、試験時間は120分でした。出題は五肢複択方式であり、回答はマークシート方式で行われました。この五肢複択方式というヤツが結構厄介でして、大学入試のセンター試験や共通テストでは、4〜5つの選択肢の中から答えを一つ選択するのが主流であり、比較的素直な問題が多かったように思いますが、ケアマネ試験の場合には、5つの選択肢から、例えば、正しい選択肢を3つ選ばなければならなかったり、あるいは2つ選択しなければならなかったりするわけです。私なんかの場合でしたら、3つのうち2つの選択肢は、比較的容易に見つけることができたように思いますが、最後の1つを間違うことが多かったと思います。5つの選択肢の中から、３つの選択肢すべてを正しく見つけ出さなければならず、1つでも間違えてしまえば他の2つが正解だったとしても得点にはならないため、この問題の形式に慣れていないと、結構面食らってしまう受験生も多かったのではないかと思いました。なので、ケアマネ試験対策の中で、『ケアマネ試験ウラ技合格法 '17年版』が大変役に立ったというのは、ケアマネ試験特有の試験形式に対する準備にとても役だったということもありました。
