As expected, the highlight of this training course was the practical internship at an in-home long-term care support provider. During the internship, candidates accompanied their care manager instructors on home visits, where they learned about actual care management practices through interactions between the instructors and clients, as well as through role-playing exercises on care plan creation with the instructors. The in-home long-term care support provider where I was assigned for my internship was located relatively close to my parents' house. Although I was not very familiar with the area itself, being in a somewhat familiar environment helped me feel at ease and not too nervous. I think that was good for me.

やはり、この研修のメイン・イベントは、介護支援事業所での実習であり、実際に実習指導者であるケアマネの後ろにくっついて利用者のお宅に伺い、実習指導者と利用者との間でどのようなケアマネジメントが行われているのか、その実際を学ぶとともに、実習指導者を相手にしたロールプレイの中で、ケアプランの作成過程を学ぶことにあったと思います。私が配属された実習先である介護支援事業所は、住んでいる実家からも比較的近くにあるところだったので、必ずしも馴染みがあるというわけではなかったのですが、それでも比較的見慣れた風景の中で移動したりできたので、あまり緊張することがなく、その点では良かったと思います。
