Having studied and conducted research in the United States and the United Kingdom as well, I have many memories of my time in research laboratories there beyond the research itself. However, I have almost no memories of Tsukuba apart from those related to my research. This is probably natural, since I did nothing but research at Tsukuba. For me, however, the time I spent conducting research is more than enough, and the papers resulting from my work there represent everything to me. Therefore, I cannot express enough gratitude to my advisor, who gave me such meaningful memories.

私も、アメリカやイギリスで勉強し研究してきたので、研究室での思い出はいろいろとあると思いますが、筑波での思い出は、研究のこと以外にはほとんどありません。筑波では研究しかしてきませんでしたので、当然のことなのだろうと思いますが、私にとっては、研究をしていた時のことだけで十分なのだろうと思いますし、筑波で行った研究から産み出された論文が私のすべてなのだろうと思います。なので、私にとってこれほどまでも大きなものを与えてくださった指導教官には感謝してもしきれないと思っています。
